Additional profiles for the GravureSet available
2010-06-14: New DeviceLink profiles for color conversions from ISO webcoated to PSR LWC Plus V2 and PSR LWC Standard V2 are included. In addition 13 new CMYK-to-Gray profiles are added and the SaveInk profiles for the US standard GRACoL1 have been greatly enhanced. See all offered DeviceLink Sets here.
CoPrA 1.7 and CoLiPri 2.1.1 updates
Updates for the ColorLogic printer profile and DeviceLink profile creation tools CoPrA 1.7 and CoLiPri 2.1.1 are available now, containing bug fixes and new features. In CoPrA an additional Gamut-Mapping option enables alterations of chroma. With the new CoLiPri version you are able to apply DeviceLink profiles to individual layers of your images. In addition the new RGB-to-CMYK-DeviceLinkSet is integrated as Demo version in the CoLiPri installation package. All new features and bug fixes are explained in more detail in the „What‘s new...“ documents on the download page.
Variable Chroma
In the course of our development initiative to care for accurate and high saturated color conversions the variable chroma option allows either a reduction or a chroma boost. The new chroma feature in CoPrA is available for both DeviceLink and Printer Profile creation. In terms of the Printer Profile creation a chroma change affects the perceptual and the saturation rendering intent. As we do take care about a good saturation rendering intent you will get the highest saturated color conversion in combination with the saturation rendering intent and a maximum chroma setting.
The RGB-to-CMYK-DeviceLink profiles available as Demo versions in the CoLiPri installation package correspond exactly to the recently released RGB-to-CMYK-DeviceLinkSet. These DeviceLinks as well as all the other CMYK-to-CMYK DeviceLinks are available in the folder „Demo_DeviceLink-Profiles“. Please note that in order to evaluate and use the profiles you need to copy or alias them to the ColorSync Profiles or Colors folder of your OS and you need a CoLiPri Demo-license. With a full license the Demo profiles are not shown in the user interface. Your dealer will be glad to assist you with a temporary Demo license on request.
