While all setting parameters were previously accommodated in a single window in the Setting dialogs for Printer and DeviceLink Profiling, they are now functionally grouped on separate tabs for Rendering, Exceptions and Black Generation. This not only gives you a clearer overview, but also creates space for the new, graphic visualizations. As usual when working with a wizard, the two Next and Back buttons take you through the different tabs.
For DeviceLink Profiling, the Rendering tab gives you a graphic display of the impact of the rendering methods on a synthetic gamut and the gray balance of the target color space. Even the Merge and Chroma slider settings are visualized.

Depending on the source color space used, the Exceptions tab includes a Gray, RGB or CMYK test chart, in which the color patches affected by the respective exception are highlighted. The color values are displayed when you move the mouse over the test chart, giving you an accurate picture of which colors are optimized via the selected exceptions.
For the special Preserve Black, Preserve Separation and Save Ink DeviceLink methods on the Black Generation tab, CMYK gradients and their black channels are used to visualize the impact of the selected method on the CMY and K channels.
Note: The gradients are just a visualization and do not reflect your selected profiles.
The CMYK separation curve obtained is displayed if you use CoPrA to create a new separation with UCR, GCR and the other methods. The display of the separation curves for CMYK Printer Profiling looks exactly the same. The curve also gives consideration to the Max. Ink and Max. Black you have set.
