Check for printing condition: Web Offset

Checking a PDF file for the web offset printing condition gives you the certainty that the CMYK separations in the file correspond to the web offset printing condition, regardless of which output intent is embedded in the file. DocBees-ProfileTagger detects incorrect and missing profiles, and outputs a warning. The PSO_LWC_Standard profile for web offset printing was selected as the default setting. You can also specify your own output intent to be used for checking.

Example: You produce for web offset printing, receive a file with a Euroscale profile as the output intent, and are at the same time informed that the image data have been prepared for web offset printing. The output intent for the European standard surprises you, and you want to be certain that the data comply with the specified web offset process, regardless of the output intent. The printing condition check allows you to check that the data have been prepared correctly. – This is equally possible in the opposite case. You receive a file that has a web offset profile (PSO_LWC_Standard) as the output intent, but you are not sure whether the data match the indicated output intent. Again, the printing condition check gives you certainty regarding whether the data can be produced by web offset printing or, in the event of a deviation, need to be requested anew or converted before printing.
