DocBees-ProfileTagger is a unique color management preflighting tool that checks not only TIFF, JPEG and Photoshop PSD image data, but also all images in PDF files. Operating at high speed and with great accuracy, DocBees-ProfileTagger automatically identifies the ICC printer profile that best matches a CMYK separation, embedding it in the files if so desired. On the one hand, for example, you can check whether the image data in a PDF/X file match the output intent, or need to be “made to fit” by means of color conversion. On the other hand, by embedding the correct profiles, you can ensure that your data are converted correctly in a downstream color workflow, even if incorrectly assigned profiles are present (e.g. a SWOP profile instead of ISO Coated V2). DocBees-ProfileTagger works both by Drag&Drop and on the basis of preconfigured hot folders, and is integrated in Enfocus Switch by means of a Configurator. This link to Enfocus Switch permits a wide variety of automation options, even in complex workflows.
