Additional profiles for the GravureSet available

New DeviceLink profiles for color conversions from ISO webcoated to PSR LWC Plus V2 and PSR LWC Standard V2 are included. In addition 13 new CMYK-to-Gray profiles are added and the SaveInk profiles for the US standard GRACoL1 have been greatly enhanced. See all offered DeviceLink Sets here.

Updates of CoPrA 1.7.1 and CoLiPri 2.1.2

The newest updates CoPrA 1.7.1 and CoLiPri 2.1.2 contain small but important bug fixes and enhancements. In case of CoLiPri we have implemented a very useful Multicolor feature desired from packaging pre-press operators and their press men: Voila, the worlds' first possibility to create Multicolor-to-Multicolor DeviceLink profiles.

CoPrA 1.7 and CoLiPri 2.1.1 updates

Updates for the ColorLogic printer profile and DeviceLink profile creation tools CoPrA 1.7 and CoLiPri 2.1.1 are available now, containing bug fixes and new features. In CoPrA an additional Gamut-Mapping option enables alterations of chroma. With the new CoLiPri version you are able to apply DeviceLink profiles to individual layers of your images. In addition the new RGB-to-CMYK-DeviceLinkSet is integrated as Demo version in the CoLiPri installation package. New RGB-to-CMYK Separation Profiles

The prefabricated ColorLogic DeviceLink Sets (DLS) for international printing standards are extended with new RGB-to-CMYK separation profiles. The advantage of DeviceLink Profiles for separations are improved smoothness and higher saturated separations which would not be possible with ICC Printer Profiles. When creating the profiles we have used the exception to purify primary and secondary colors for very clean colors. For the most important international printing standards we are delivering separation profiles from sRGB, AdobeRGB(1998) and eciRGB V2. Special attention has been paid on harmonic separations especially when purifying primary and secondary colors. The list of all available DeviceLink Profiles can be gathered from the document „DeviceLinkSets-CoLoV3.3_EN.pdf“. Customer interested to test the profiles may contact the appropriate ColorLogic distributor.

CoLiPri 2.1 - DeviceLink profile creation, usage and editing in Photoshop

Both updates CoLiPri 2.1 and CoPrA 1.6 are now delivering the same high quality profiles. Many of the new CoPrA features introduced in version 1.5 an 1.6 are now implemented in CoLiPri „under the hood“. This makes the creation and editing of high-end DeviceLink Profiles even easier. The new improved Gamut-Mapping and the optimized purity of secondary colors keeping the best hue and saturation compared to the source color space are just a few of the many new quality improvements. In addition CoLiPri 2.1 now supports Mac OSX 10.6 and Windows 7 operating systems. CoLiPri customers are able to create a profile analysis report with the help of the new DocBees Profile Manager v1.1. The profile report allows a convenient assessment of the quality of the profiles you have created. CoPrA 1.6 - Profile Creation with Optimized Gamut-Mapping

The new version 1.6 of CoPrA comes up with a strongly improved Gamut-Mapping for DeviceLink and Printer Profiles. High saturated colors from the source color space are now rendered brighter and more saturated than before. In addition, the new operating system Windows 7 is fully supported. Another features worth to be mentioned here are the improved and easier to handle exceptions for DeviceLink Profile creation. CoPrA customers are able to create a profile analysis report with the help of the new DocBees Profile Manager v1.1. The profile report allows a convenient assessment of the quality of the profiles you have created. DocBees Profile Manager 1.1 with automatic Profile Analysis Report

With version 1.1 the freeware DocBees Profile Manager is enhanced with a profile report. With right click on a selected profile (Printer and DeviceLink-Profiles are supported) a profile analysis report can be automatically created as PDF file. This report shows you the performance of your profile with the help of curves, different gamut visualizations and color separations applied to various test files illustrating important aspects of the profile. DocBees Profile Manager can be downloaded free of charge from the ColorLogic download page as PC or Mac version.

New Gravure DeviceLink Set

The ColorLogic DeviceLink Sets have been extended with a new Gravure Print Set. The 16 new conversion profiles in and from the three new gravure printing standards (PSR v2) - released lately from the ECI - allow for the first time high quality CMYK-to-CMYK conversions for the gravure printing industry.

CoPrA 1.5 offers even more

CoPrA 1.5 offers a large range of technological improvements. This update, which is free-of-charge for existing customers, offers support for the latest Mac OSX operating system 10.6 (Snow Leopard). New options for the definiton of exceptions are added to allow CMYK-to-CMYK and RGB-to-CMYK DeviceLink profiles with higher saturated pure colors. For the first time, CoPrA provides creation of MultiColor printer profiles and DeviceLink profiles for RGB and CMYK to MultiColor (MultiColor license required). Manager your DeviceLinks with DocBees Profile Manager

ColorLogic announces a new product series: the DocBees tools! The first one is DocBees Profile Manager, a freeware tool allowing to search for all your profiles in the ColorSync folder of your Mac or the Colors folder of your PC. You may search according to different criterias, group, delete and manage your profiles and show different kind of curves of ICC profiles and DeviceLink profiles including multicolor color spaces for evaluation purposes. You may download a copy of the freeware tool from the Download section of our homepage. But the tool is even more mighty! Therefore you will find a video tutorial explaining the feature set of DocBees Profile Manager in detail.

ZePrA 1.2.4 - The platform independant color server solution

CoLiPri 2.0 - the multi color pro

CoLiPri version 2.0 has been enhanced into a comprehensive color kit. It is now able to combine different color spaces and aspects of color conversions. In addition, CoLiPri may be integrated into Adobe Photoshop© actions allowing automatization and cross color conversions e.g. the application of RGB-to-CMYK or RGB/CMYK-to-MultiColor DeviceLink profiles. The magnitude of MultiColor features integrated turns CoLiPri 2.0 into the ideal tool for packaging and HiFi printing customers.

The reason are the new printing standards and paper classes defined from the European Color Initiative (ECI) and the USA.
